Home Therapy Solutions provides parent education based classes at the Wayne, NJ location and is also available on-site at your facility to complement your current daycare/preschool/k -5 for parent enrichment programming. The program consists of classes that would typically be offered in a small group format of five to ten participants at a facility location. The format of these classes are presentation driven by the occupational therapist with frequent opportunities for parent interaction and peer support. The classes are relaxed and educational, however are not intended to take the place of therapy.
An introduction to sensory processing and management is also offered as staff development. The course is slightly modified from the parent sensory course to include classroom sensory management tools and strategies. This is not intended to take the place of professional therapy for students.
